| Description | Sketches of an older Chris Redfield holding a tiny girl that's meant to be Albert Wesker. But he's a little girl. The sketch next to that is a young woman Wesker in a straight jacket, restrained and grimacing with electric nodes attached to her head. The sketch under that is Chris being choked by veiny hands, and a vignette of woman Wesker's eyes behind her hair staring down at Chris. There's several hand-written notes that I have re-written:
He gets boots on the ground to do a final sweep of the area before he can call it neutralized, and he finds one more test subject curled up in the wreckage. She's clearly infected, her eyes are bloody and red and every vein is visible through her vellum-thin skin. He takes her back to the labs for caretaking and custody. What's one more fungal bacteria girl in the labs getting poked at? At least she's used to it since that's all she was manufactured for.
Every night as he sleeps, he now feels something trying to kill him. Fingers pressed into his throat, cutting his breathing off, but it never goes through with it all the way. He wakes up coughing and sputtering, but wishing it finished the job that he can't do himself.
Trace memories can be passed through genes, usually just neurological reactions to stimuli. Signatures of violence and stress can be passed down as well. I wonder if she remembers the hatred he felt as he died? | |
